JAMES & LYNN PATERSON

James and Lynn have been committed to glorifying God in their lives through visual art as a married couple for over 40 years. They see God’s filling of visual artists with “the Spirit of God…” in Exodus 31:3 as pivotal to their calling. James practices as a visual artist while Lynn manages, maintains, organizes and pushes forward the daily requirements of their mission.

Through the artwork James endeavours to give expression to mystery while presenting a redemptive Biblical world view. Together their passion is to meet people at a heart level, using art as a bridge into the imagination bypassing walls, allowing for faith discussions,
times of personal prayer and sharing Jesus at the art shows, conferences, workshops and other events they participate in.

James has two books published, Jim’s Grandiose Big Bible Picture Book and Saturday Morning, a children’s picture book. He is also the subject of a recent documentary, Wired: the Art of James Paterson. His moving and static wire sculptures are in major collections and institutions globally and has shown in galleries and art fairs in Russia,
Europe, South Korea, Canada and the US.
