In her early career Margaret was a professional actor in Britain and had opportunity to perform in many and various theatrical mediums. After emigrating to Canada in 1977 she started a new career as a certified sign language interpreter and subsequently developed her own management company that specialized in working with a wide variety of not-for-profit, private sector businesses and government agencies to create resources for people with disabilities to promote mutual health, economic and social benefits. She is a past recipient of the Professional Business Woman of the Year Award. Margaret currently serves on several faith-based boards, lives in Salmon Arm, B.C. with her husband, enjoys co-leading a weekly Bible study group and coordinating a 55+ annual retreat at Sunnybrae Bible Camp.
