How did Flyingbow begin?
In 2005, Flyingbow Music Ministry Artistic Director, Trevor Dick, connected with Imago Canada, a registered charity which affirms and supports arts initiatives across the country. Under Imago, the concept of Flyingbow was established, along with an accountability board.
In 2010, after producing two CDs as Imago projects, Trevor, led by God and encouraged by Imago Director John Franklin, took Flyingbow to the next level by applying, and receiving, non-profit charitable status. Why Flyingbow partner artists?
For the past year or so, the Board of Directors have spent time in strategic planning, discerning how God wants to use Flyingbow Music Ministry to expand His kingdom. Through prayer and research, the Board have decided to expand the reach of Flyingbow and partner with other musicians and artists to help fulfill the ministry’s objectives.
How do I become a Flyingbow artist?
There is a process to become a Flyingbow Music Ministry artist that starts with an application and an interview and ends with an agreement between the musician/artist and Board approval. If you want more information about this, use the contact page to connect with us.
Why should I donate to Flyingbow?
Your donation will help Flyingbow Music Ministry and its partner ministries fulfill its objectives in four main ministry areas: church ministry support; missions and evangelism; music and arts advocacy and education; the support of poverty relief in Canada and abroad. Regular ministry “God-stories” will be shared on our Flyingbow News Page of what the Lord is doing through this unique ministry across Canada and around the World.
Where does my money go?
Your donations are used to fund partner artist ministry projects, which are as varied as coordinating a tour of concerts/events, producing a CD or taking part in a missions trip. All projects meet the objectives of Flyingbow Music Ministry and have been approved by the Board of Directors.
